Christopher Farrell in Conversation

Christopher Farrell's paintings are in featured in  ESCAPE, our Summer Exhibition 2017. This is the latest collection of paintings exploring the London skyline and in them we see a quickening of pace and energy reflecting the fast evoloution of the city. We took a moment to ask Christopher about his practice and the inspiration behind the work:

 

" While studying at the RA I had a dilemma. I was a landscape painter, in the centre of London. The first year was dedicated to life drawing and developing my personal vision. This is when I made the transition of cityscape painting and my subject has been with me ever since."
