We're pleased to present two new paintings by Christopher Farrell, both depicting the famous view of Oxford from South Park. These two paintings show the exuberant sunset over the Oxford skyline, illuminating the college rooftops.
Christopher Farrell uniquely combines the latest digital technology with historical materials and techniques, working with Photoshop, oil on copper and Goldpoint. Old masters are among his current influences, including Canaletto whose celebrated views of London have inspired Christopher's new paintings, drawings and digital artworks. The fast evolving London skyline with its dynamic mix of contemporary and period architecture provides the basis for Christophers current work.
