We are pleased to show you new collections of ceramics from Rhian Malin & MapMap.
Rhian continues to marry geometry and art with her beautifully hand drawn designs. She uses the long-historic technique of painting cobalt-blue decoration onto porcelain with an occasional appearance of gold, created to stretch this tradition into the 21st Century.
After their first collection in the gallery quickly sold, MapMap are back with a new collection. Each slab built vessel has their own unique stencil design, and are fired with select areas glazed to create a contrast of matt and gloss surfaces. They like to think their designs are contemporary, fun and colourful with a touch of Mid-Century style.
Both collections are now on display at the gallery.
