We had the pleasure of working with Fyrefly Studios photography earlier this month, photographing a selection of works by Ant & Di Edmonds - Tydd Pottery, and other selected pieces from the gallery. The location was our neighbours at Pompette Restaurant, where owner Laura very kindly allowed us to use the private dining room, located above the main restaurant. Thank you, Laura and the Pompette team who looked after us so well and making us feel so welcome!
We had so much fun playing in this beautifully designed space. We wanted to show you selections of works in a more homely (yet stylish!) setting, so you can feel inspired about how artworks look and feel away from the gallery environment.
As you'll see, these new smaller chequered and zig zagged Ant & Di Edmonds - Tydd Pottery vases really pop out against the darker paint-work and vintage style setting. The contrast really brings out the pattern, especially as monochrome pieces. Above, the pinky tones of Fletcher Prentice's Tulip Study provide a subtle focus and a dash of warm colour.
