Visitors to the gallery have the opportunity to meet artist Flora McLachlan RE on the day of the opening of Spellbound, on Saturday 10th September, 12-4pm.
Spellbound features new paintings by Flora McLachlan alongside Daniel Ablitt and Marina Bauguil's work, exploring landscape and revealing the magic and wonder within real-world settings. Flora is well-known for her interpretations of myth and the embedding of ancient stories and legends in the land under our feet. However, more recently she has been exploring the playful magic in nature, immersing herself in the sappy, scented greenery that teems with life.
