A small collection of new work by mixed media artist Alison Pullen has recently arrived at the gallery. Her semi-abstract representations of interiors have a haunting, ethereal quality - a sense of time passing within these walls while people come and go, their lives played out in these rooms. Details of decor may change but the interior remain largely the same.
Take a closer look at Alison's new work, this time from the Randolph Gallery in the Ashmolean Museum, the library in Osterley Park House and a Victorian townhouse interior in Edgbaston.
Visitors to the gallery can also see brand new work by acclaimed printmaker Trevor Price. He continues to develop a recent body of work taken from nature in Cornwall. These prints explore the play of light in Cornish woodlands and the drama of the coast, intricately detailed in monochrome black and white. In addition, three new prints were inspired by Barbara Hepworth's garden in St Ives, as an homage to the great sculptor.
