Exploring the Somerset landscape, Jim Whitty's paintings have a sense of mystery, charting secret paths and hidden valleys. His distinctive use of saturated colour keeps these English landscapes resolutely contemporary, bringing out a brooding intensity to the nature that surrounds him.
