Angus Vasili’s layered landscapes come from his fascination of the contrast between natural and manmade environments. He incorporates polarised borders to hone in on his subjects of abstracted distant mountains and exuberant skylines. Relying on the printmaking process, Angus allows chance to inform his final composition.

Angus says, 'The message and meaning behind my works reflect how we view neglected spaces in the urban landscape and the importance of finding the right balance between deconstruction and reconstruction. My work explores the conflict between the two, reflecting on the hidden beauty that can be found in decay.'

Angus studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Liverpool John Moores University, and has since exhibited his prints internationally.
