Kay Morgan’s handmade jewellery is created by upcycling pieces of remnant leather and giving them a new life. Bold and vivacious, using an eclectic colour palette and geometric inspired shapes she creates lightweight pieces that are easy to wear.
‘Since 2011 I have been evolving my jewellery range, inspired by a need to repurpose all the remnant leather from my purse making practice. This ethos is now central to my business and I now only use reclaimed leather, which I buy as a waste product from the manufacturing process.’
In 2001, Kay graduated from a degree in Constructed Textiles and then went on to work within the retail industry before starting her business specialising in making purses and handbags from vintage fabrics and clothing.
