We were delighted to host a launch evening to honour our solo artist Rebecca Swainston. Launching her solo show ‘Embodyment’ Rebecca was joined in attendance by her creative collaborator, the poet Lesley Saunders.

We welcome you to a private view at Sarah Wiseman Gallery on Wednesday 9th February, 6-8pm. Meet the artist Rebecca Swainston and enjoy a poetry reading by Lesley Saunders.

In early 2022, we introduce paintings by Rebecca Swainston in the exhibition Embodyment, along with a new collection of landscape paintings by Claire Oxley and paintings by Rowena Mayell, followed by a group exhibition on the theme of interiors by artists Dawn Beckles, Kate Montgomery, Lindsey Moran, Adam Stone and Alison Pullen in March.

We are delighted to introduce you to the painter and printmaker Rebecca Swainston. Her work is highly expressive, richly textured and colourful, drawing inspiration from ‘the human condition’ – our thoughts, our desires and vulnerabilities.
